When you withdraw fiat funds by bank transfer, you should attentively enter your beneficiary bank details:

Bank name

Country and address

BIC/SWIFT code

IBAN or bank account number

This information is crucial, and a little mistake can lead to stuck transactions and even loss of funds. Remember that it’s your responsibility to provide the correct details.

If you withdraw fiat via bank transfer and money hasn’t appeared in your bank account in more than 5 business days, you can ask our team to investigate the situation. In some circumstances, we can try to find and return funds.

But first, we recommend that you check for possible reasons for the delay in your bank transfer.

Situations when we can attempt to find your bank transfer withdrawal:

The customer made a mistake in bank details.

If you entered the bank name or address incorrectly or made a typo in the bank account number, we can try to find and recover your transaction.

The Beneficiary's Bank is in a high-risk area.

This may happen that the recipient country is on the ban list for international transfers. For instance, due to the overall situation in the country, it is not possible to guarantee the successful execution of a transaction. This situation requires the involvement of some correspondent banks, which in turn increases the chances of bank transfer failure.

NOTE. The above list is indicative only and in no way is it a guarantee or commitment that CEX.IO will attempt to find and recover your funds.

We investigate each case and assess if we can try to get the funds back. This decision is at the discretion of the CEX.IO team. The sourcing process is complex, time-consuming, and requires a lot of effort on the part of the technical team.

Commissions

The attempt to find the bank transfer withdrawal implies a fee of 50 (Fifty) USD.

Please note that this commission will be charged regardless of the result of the investigation. Our team uses significant resources to investigate the case, develop and implement technical solutions.

Keep in mind that CEX.IO may not be able to find funds. Bank transfer investigation fees are non-refundable.

We will be able to start the process of finding your bank withdrawal only after you have sufficient funds on your CEX.IO account to cover the commission.

Process

To request a bank withdrawal search, please submit this form and provide with the below necessary information:

Your CEX.IO user ID.

You can find it in your profile drop-down menu under the Social networks section.

The order number of payment in the request.

You can find it on the Finance page under the Payments tab.

Statement from the bank account to which the withdrawal was made.

The document should contain up-to-date data information about your account balance and transactions.

Timing

Please note that the entire process of finding a payment may take at least 10 business days.

If you’ve sent a crypto deposit to an incorrect address, you can request recovery of that deposit from BITDAX.IO.

When you deposit coins/tokens, it’s essential to properly enter and double-check all details (the deposit address, amount, etc) before confirming the transaction.

It’s always your responsibility to ensure that you fill all the details correctly. One mistake may result in losing your funds, and we will not be able to help you as cryptocurrency transactions are generally irreversible.

In some situations, though, our team may attempt to recover the funds.

Situations when we can attempt to recover your crypto funds:
Incorrect Destination Tag or Memo ID entered when depositing Cosmos (ATOM), Kava.io (KAVA), Ripple (XRP), Stellar (XLM).

Important: Destination or Memo ID Tag should not belong to another user.

No Destination Tag or Memo ID entered when depositing Cosmos (ATOM), Kava.io (KAVA), Ripple (XRP), Stellar (XLM).

Tezos (XTZ) from KT addresses.

ERC-20 deposits on unsupported smart contracts version.

Situations when recovery is impossible:
Withdrawal to a wrong address.

NOTE: The above list is only indicative and in no way a guarantee or commitment that CEX.IO will try to recover your incorrectly sent coins/tokens. We will investigate every case and estimate whether or not we can attempt to recover the funds. This decision remains at the sole discretion of the CEX.IO team. The process of recovery is complicated, time-consuming, and requires much effort from the technical team.

Fees
The attempt to recover the incorrectly sent deposit implies a fee of 10% from deposit amount but not less than 100 USD in your deposit cryptocurrency equivalent.

The fee will be calculated from the original amount of your deposit and charged in the deposit cryptocurrency.

Please pay your attention, that the fee will be charged regardless of the recovery process outcome as in the process the team uses significant resources to investigate the case, develop, and implement technical solutions.

Please note that BITDAX.IO may not be able to recover all deposits. The recovery fee is non-refundable.

The USD equivalent fee value will be calculated at the time of attempting the recovery process.

We’ll only be able to start the recovery process once you have the sufficient amount of funds to cover the recovery fee.

Example:

If you sent 1 ETH, the fee for the recovery attempt will be 0,1 ETH, which is 10% from 1 ETH.

If you send 0.07 ETH, which in USD equivalent will be 189 (at price of $2700, for example), then the fee for the recovery attempt will be $100 in the ETH equivalent ~ 0.037 ETH. The exchange rate for this example was taken on the day of drafting this article. Pay attention, that the exchange rate in each case can differ because of the volatility of cryptocurrencies.

Process
To request recovery of your coins/tokens, please fill the Recovery Application Form https://forms.gle/Lj8L6uBPc63BR79U7 and provide the necessary information mentioned below:

Your BITDAX.IO User ID

Timing
Please note that the whole process of recovery may take 4 weeks at least.
The Kyber team has started a Kyber Network Crystal (KNC) token upgrade and migration. This update is supposed to make KNC more dynamic and flexible and optimize the support of more efficient upgrades.

The old token gets the name of KNC Legacy (KNCL) and the new token (v2) will keep the original ticker KNC. KNC remains an ERC-20 token.

BITDAX.IO will support the KNC token migration. If you hold KNC on BITDAX.IO, it will be automatically converted to the new KNC without any additional action required from you.

Conversion ratio: 1 KNCL token will equal 1 new KNC token.

Here’s how BITDAX.IO will handle the migration:

Deposit and withdrawals will be operational but please expect minor delays in transactions within an hour before and after the scheduled migration.

KNC trading will be unaffected during this time.

We will not support KNC Legacy deposits and trading after June 11 at 14:00 UTC.

All deposits of KNC Legacy after June 11 at 14:00 UTC will be lost.

If you prefer to have your KNC tokens not converted, you can withdraw them from BITDAX.IO before June 11 13:00 UTC

Please follow our Status Page for the updates on the progress.

We would like to address the recent situation regarding withdrawals to Mastercard. Some of you might have experienced declined withdrawals to your cards over this weekend.

The situation was caused by the processing rules change, which we couldn’t predict. This is a temporary inconvenience and we’re working with our payment processors to resolve this issue.

First of all, we would like to assure you that your funds are safe and remain under your control. You can access your funds to trade and withdraw them using the available payment options as you wish.

What’s more, all withdrawals are being processed correctly. There’s only one factor with the Mastercards that you need to consider when choosing a withdrawal method.

What has changed?
Your Mastercard may not display in your BITDAX.IO account when you try to withdraw your funds to it. Due to the Mastercard withdrawals change on BITDAX.IO, withdrawals to these cards will be temporarily unavailable.

We will notify you once the situation changes.

Special offer on Visa
To offer you a solution in this situation, we have cut the fee for Visa withdrawals from 3% to 2.5% until we resolve the case with the Mastercard withdrawals.*

You can link your Visa card to the BITDAX.IO account and withdraw your funds to it straight away, as well as use the card that has already been linked to your account before.

Link Visa Card

Some customers who have been using Mastercard for deposits and withdrawals before, may not experience any difficulties and can withdraw their funds to Mastercard.

The only change is that the withdrawal processing time will take up to 3 business days.

*Mastercards for RUB withdrawals work without any changes, so lowered fees on Visa withdrawals don’t apply for RUB.

Please note that you can transfer the amount that is available in accordance with your current verification level. Find more about limits and commissions on this page.

Please note that only users who are over 18 years old are allowed to initiate operations using payment cards.

More tips and important details on using debit/credit cards on BITDAX.IO can be found in our Payment cards guide.

Dash Multisignature Wallets

Not so long ago, BITDAX.IO added Dash on the platform Since then, some of our customers have encountered the issue with their wallets. So, we would like to emphasize that BITDAX.IO works with the multisignature Dash wallets only. While many other platforms prefer usual wallets, we use the multisig to ensure the security of your funds.

So, What Should I Do?

The fact that usual wallets for Dash are not supported on BITDAX.IO means that you need to create a multisig wallet to be able to make deposits and withdrawals. It is not complicated and usually would not take much time. Still, this simple measure will help to avoid any inconvenience and ensure that you can use the platform to the fullest extent.

What Is a Multisig Wallet?

In comparison to the usual wallets that require only one private key, multisig needs several signatures to carry out the transaction. The whole system is somehow similar to a joint bank account where the agreement of several people is necessary for the operation. So, if you provide just one key, the transaction will not be valid until it is confirmed with other keys.

Why Do You Use Them?

The multisig wallets allow ensuring higher security of your funds. They appear to be more reliable than the usual wallets, so many customers prefer using them. At BITDAX.IO, we also decided to support only multisig wallets for your security. To receive most advantages from our service, please, make sure that you use a multisignature wallet for your Dash operations.

A prepaid card is not connected to a bank account, unlike debit and credit cards. That’s why most card issuers have policies on using prepaid cards for online payments.

It is technically possible to verify a prepaid card and use it to make a deposit to your BITDAX.IO account. However, we have noticed that most prepaid card transactions are not successful, especially when it comes to withdrawing funds.

To enjoy fast and easy card payments on BITDAX.IO, we recommend using your debit or credit card.

You can also choose from other available payment options, such as bank transfers, wallet services, and cryptocurrency deposits. Check the payment options available in your area on our Limits and Commissions page.

To find out what you need to successfully verify your card, check out our Card Verification Guide. You can also find some useful tips in our Payment Cards Guide.

For additional information or assistance, contact our Support Team via chat.
We’re using a new format of LTC wallet to avoid mixing LTC and BTC addresses. However, some exchanges may not support it.

If you need to deposit some LTC from an exchange that does not support the new address format, we kindly ask you to use the converter at https://litecoin-project.github.io/p2sh-convert/. The service will convert our new address format to the old format. As soon as you get the address in the old format, you can use it to send LTC from other exchanges to BITDAX.IO without any issues.

HINT: You may also use your personal LTC wallet as an intermediary to avoid address conversion. However, note that you’ll have to pay a fee for each separate transaction then.
Please check your email box, the reason for rejected verification should have already been emailed to you by Compliance Officer. You can also contact the Support Team by writing via chat.

Usually, payment card verification is rejected if:

information has been provided incorrectly;

the quality or resolution of the photos you’ve uploaded is too low.

Make sure that photos aren’t blurry or overexposed and provide information as specified in our Card Verification Guide.

You can increase your deposit and withdrawal limits to speed up transfers to and from your BITDAX.IO account.

Keep in mind that sending larger amounts of money requires additional security measures. To ensure the security of money transfers, BITDAX.IO has to request more personal data from users who want to raise their limits. In other words, to increase your limit you’ll need a higher verification level.

To apply for a higher verification level, visit the Limits and Commissions page of the BITDAX.IO website and click Increase Limit next to the account level that offers the limits you would like to have.

Note that all personal data is processed in accordance with our fully PCI DSS-compliant Privacy Policy.
BITDAX.IO is one of the only exchanges that accepts credit card payments for crypto purchases. Credit/debit cards are a fast and convenient payment method. Unfortunately, sometimes card payments are declined, but most can be resolved within minutes by checking your card settings in online banking or contacting your bank. Check out this guide to get things sorted out quickly.

When using a card, make sure to check:

Card settings

Card type

Payment details

BITDAX.IO service coverage & account limits

Card settings

We've noticed that the reasons for most declined card payments are general card settings and bank requirements.

So before using your credit/debit card, check that:

Internet payments and/or P2P operations are allowed

Your card has sufficient limits for online payments

Your card-issuing bank allows quasi-cash or cash advance transactions

Most banks categorize crypto-related payments as quasi-cash or cash advance transactions. You can easily clarify this information by contacting your bank.

Card type

Make sure that your card is not a business, prepaid, or gift card.

Preferably, use a Visa or MasterCard debit or credit card.

Important: Only personal cards are allowed.

Sometimes, we may need some additional information to make sure that you are the real cardholder. If that happens, our Compliance Officer will contact you via email.

Payment details

As the crypto market changes quickly, you may want to make quick trading decisions and payments. When you’re in a rush, it's easy to mistype or overlook some important card and payment details. This may result in a declined transaction.

So when making a card payment, check that:

You have sufficient funds on your balance

You’ve entered the correct amount

Make sure to consider bank commission and exchange rate fees if your card currency is different than the currency you selected on BITDAX.IO

The CVV or CVC code is correct

The 3D secure code is also correct (if required)

BITDAX.IO service coverage & account limits

Finally, make sure that BITDAX.IO provides service in your area and check your account limits. You can find this information on the Limits and Commissions page.

Due to regulations, your deposit and withdrawal options may vary. So it's important to check that card payments method – and both card deposits and withdrawals – are available in your location.

When making a card payment, make sure you don't exceed the limit for your account. This limit depends on your account verification level.

Also, pay attention to the daily transaction limits of 3 deposits and 10 withdrawals.

Withdrawals may take up to 3 banking days depending on the card-issuing bank.

If you have any questions or need more information, contact us via chat and provide all the details so we can get things sorted out quickly.

Enter the amount you would like to withdraw in the top right corner of the page. Make sure to check the Total amount to see what funds will be sent to your card after deducting fees.

Click on the card you want to use or choose to Add new card. Then, accept the Terms of Use, Refund Policy, Payment Conditions, and Cardholder’s Agreement.

Double-check the information you’ve entered and click Withdrawal.

Confirm your withdrawal with the 2-factor authentication (2FA) code.

You’ll receive an email to the address connected with your CEX.IO account confirming your withdrawal request. As soon as it’s processed on our side, you’ll receive another notification by email. Usually, it takes only a few minutes for funds to be credited to your card. However, depending on the payment processing time of your bank it can take up to three working days.

When making withdrawals, pay attention to your daily and monthly limits. You can find your account limits on the Withdrawal page in the bottom right corner or by going to the Limits and Commissions page.

Please, note that prepaid cards are not supported for withdrawals.

If you have any questions regarding card withdrawals, feel free to contact us via chat.
Crypto deposits are quite different from fiat deposits, as they happen on a blockchain. Keep in mind some key points to smoothly deposit crypto to BITDAX.IO.

Сheck your deposit address before every new operation. Sometimes, due to constant internal and network improvements, your BITDAX.IO wallet address can change. If you use the old address it can lead to a loss of funds since we don’t have access to inactive wallets.

For this same reason, avoid using your BITDAX.IO wallet for receiving mining rewards.

Your deposit amount should be equal to or more than the required minimum. We won’t be able to credit a smaller amount to your wallet for technical reasons. You can find information about the minimum required and maximum possible deposit amounts on the Limits and Commissions page.

Double-check the currency you’re sending.

If you use an address for the wrong currency, the transaction will not reach its destination and you won’t be able to restore your funds. For example, BCH cannot be credited to a BTC wallet just as Ethereum-based tokens may be lost when sent to an ETH wallet.

Don’t forget to check how many confirmations are needed for every cryptocurrency transaction to reach your CEX.IO wallet.

Here are some useful tips on depositing particular cryptocurrencies to BITDAX.IO:

Ethereum (ETH)
When making an ETH deposit to your BITDAX.IO wallet, make sure you are not sending funds from a contract wallet.

To check whether your wallet address is a smart contract address, please visit https://etherscan.io/ and paste your address in the search field. A contract address will show Contract in the header. Keep in mind that all Ethereum multi-signature wallets are (smart) contract wallets.

Bitcoin Cash (BCH)
Before making a BCH deposit to BITDAX.IO, make sure your sending wallet supports transactions to CashAddrr addresses. If your wallet doesn’t support them, you can use the Legacy format. Just click the Old address button on the BITDAX.IO Deposit page.

Litecoin (LTC)
Your LTC address on BITDAX.IO has a P2SH format (starting with M)*. However, some crypto platforms still don’t support transactions to these new addresses. In this case, you can simply use the LTC address converter and use an old (3-prefixed) format for your wallet address.

* Litecoin addresses have similar formats to BTC addresses. In order to resolve confusion, the Litecoin community developed a new format for wallets (P2SH) that are prefixed with M. Such wallets work in the Litecoin network only and are not valid for Bitcoin.

Tether (USDT)
BITDAX.IO supports the Ethereum-based version of the USDT token. That means you should use only an ERC-20 compatible wallet to make a deposit to your BITDAX.IO account. Attempting to deposit Bitcoin-based (issued via the Omni Layer Protocol) or Tron-based (TRC-20) USDT to CEX.IO will cause a failed deposit and loss of funds.

Please note that all USDT ERC-20 wallets begin with 0x.

Dash (DASH)
There are two types of DASH wallet addresses. One is the general wallet address starting with x. The other is the multi-signature address starting with 7.

Keep in mind that BITDAX.IO only works with multi-signature Dash wallets. While many other platforms prefer standard wallets, we use multi-sig wallets to ensure the security of your funds.

Stellar (XLM)
Stellar wallets have a special Memo ID or text. When sending XLM to your BITDAX.IO account, make sure to include the correct Memo ID. An incorrect or missing Memo ID can result in a processing delay or missing funds.

Some Stellar wallets need to be activated with an initial deposit. This is not necessary for your BITDAX.IO wallet, however.

Ripple (XRP)
When depositing XRP to BITDAX.IO, a Destination tag is required to associate your transaction with your account. You can find this tag on the Deposit page together with your deposit address.

If you forget the tag, it will be difficult to restore your funds. In case you enter the wrong tag, your funds will be sent to another recipient.

Cosmos (ATOM)
Every ATOM wallet has a special Memo ID that you need to include when making a deposit to BITDAX.IO

You can find your personal Memo ID together with your ATOM wallet address on the Deposit page. Please note that a missing or incorrect Memo ID may lead to a loss of funds.

Neo (NEO)
Unlike most cryptocurrencies, NEO does not have decimal places. When sending NEO to your BITDAX.IO account, use only whole numbers.

If you send amounts with decimal values, you’ll lose the fractional portion of your transaction. For example, when you enter 2.04 as your deposit amount, you’ll receive only 2 NEO on your BITDAX.IO balance. The remaining 0.04 NEO will be charged from your sending wallet and left in the network.

TRON (TRX)
BITDAX.IO does not support the Ethereum-based version of the TRON token. Please make sure you’re using a TRC-20/TRC-10 compatible wallet to make a deposit to BITDAX.IO. Attempting to deposit Ethereum-based (ERC-20) TRX to a CEX.IO wallet may cause a failed transaction and loss of funds.

Note that all TRX ERC-20 wallets begin with 0x, while TRC-10/TRC-20 wallets start with T.

Tezos (XTZ)
Your BITDAX.IO XTZ wallet has an implicit account address (that starts with TZ). This wallet is used for baking and doesn’t support smart contract transactions (or delegation). There is another format of XTZ wallet that’s designed for delegating (smart contracts) and that starts with KT. Transactions between wallets of different formats are not supported, so make sure you’re sending funds from a TZ wallet.

Kava.io (KAVA)
KAVA wallets have a special Memo ID. To send KAVA to your BITDAX.IO account you should include the correct Memo ID. An incorrect or missing Memo ID can result in a processing delay or missing funds.

Ton (TON)
To deposit TON to BITDAX.IO, a Memo ID is required. You can find the Memo ID on the Deposit page together with your deposit address.

Mind that a missing or incorrect Memo ID may lead to a loss of funds.

In case of deposit delays
If your deposit gets enough confirmations but still is not credited to your BITDAX.IO balance, contact our Support Team via chat. To check all the details of your operation, we’ll ask you to provide:

User ID of your BITDAX.IO account

Transaction ID of your deposit together with the link on the blockchain

The wallet address from which you sent funds

A screenshot of your deposit wallet address on BITDAX.IO

The more details you provide, the faster we’ll check out the situation and find a solution.

Crypto transactions are a fast and convenient way to transfer funds worldwide. These transactions run in a decentralized network where every sender and recipient is anonymous. However, you need to be careful when transferring your crypto funds. Sometimes, mistakes in withdrawal requests may lead to a loss of funds.

Important rules when withdrawing crypto from BITDAX.IO:

Use only personal wallets and check your destination address before every operation.

Make sure your withdrawal is within the transaction limits. You can find information on the minimum required and maximum possible withdrawal amounts on the Limits and Commissions page.

Pay attention to the total amount field. It shows how much will be sent after fees.

Clarify whether your destination wallet service charges fees for crypto deposits.

Don’t use the same wallet for transferring different currencies. For example, BCH cannot be credited to a BTC wallet, just as Ethereum-based tokens may be lost when sent to an ETH wallet.

Pay attention to every detail, as crypto transactions are irreversible and difficult to track. Once you confirm your withdrawal, funds will be sent to the wallet address you entered. You can track the status (number of confirmations) on the blockchain or on the site of your recipient wallet. In case of any delay or issue, please contact your destination wallet service.

Here are some useful tips on withdrawing certain cryptocurrencies from your BITDAX.IO account.

Ethereum (ETH)
Currently, withdrawals to smart contract wallets are not supported.

If you aren’t sure whether your wallet has a smart contract address, please visit https://etherscan.io/ and paste your address in the search field. If it’s a smart contract address, you’ll see Contract in the header. All Ethereum multi-signature wallets are (smart) contract accounts.

Bitcoin Cash (BCH)
Use your recipient wallet address in the CashAddrr format*. If you have a Legacy wallet address, you can use this converter to convert it to a CashAddrr address and perform a transaction conveniently.

* CashAddr address starts with q/p or bitcoincash:q / bitcoincash:p;

Legacy addresses start with a 1 or 3.

The Legacy format is the original format used for BCH transactions. However, Legacy addresses are very similar to BTC addresses. The Bitcoin Cash team developed the CashAddr format to help users avoid mistakes when sending and receiving Bitcoin Cash.

Litecoin (LTC)
Your LTC address on CEX.IO uses the P2SH format (M-prefixed)*. However, some crypto platforms still don’t accept deposits from new addresses. In this case, you can simply use the LTC address converter and use a 3-prefixed format for your wallet address.

* Original Litecoin addresses had a similar format to BTC addresses. In order to avoid confusion, the Litecoin community developed a new format for wallets (P2SH) that are prefixed with M.

Tether (USDT)
BITDAX.IO supports the Ethereum-based version of the USDT token. Please make sure your destination wallet is ERC-20 compatible. Attempting to withdraw to a Bitcoin-based (issued via the Omni Layer Protocol) or Tron-based (TRC-20) USDT wallet address from BITDAX.IO may cause a failed transaction and loss of funds.

Note that all USDT ERC-20 wallets begin with 0x.

Dash (DASH)
Keep in mind that BITDAX.IO only works with multi-signature Dash wallets*. While many other platforms prefer standard wallets, we use multi-sig wallets to ensure the security of your funds.

* Multi-signature addresses start with 7, while general wallet addresses start with x.

Stellar (XLM)
Stellar wallets have a special memo ID or text. When transferring XLM, make sure to include the correct memo ID. You can contact your destination wallet service in order to clarify your memo ID or text. This simple step can help you withdraw XLM without delays or issues.

Some Stellar wallets need to be activated with an initial deposit. Keep in mind that withdrawals from BITDAX.IO cannot be sent to inactive Stellar wallets. You can check whether your wallet is enabled for deposits by checking the address on the blockchain.

Ripple (XRP)
When withdrawing XRP from BITDAX.IO, you need to use a destination tag. Please clarify with your recipient wallet service what tag you should include to correctly perform the transaction.

A missing tag can result in lost funds. If you enter the wrong tag, your transaction might be credited to another recipient.

Note that XRP funds cannot be transferred between BITDAX.IO users, only external addresses are accepted.

To withdraw XRP to a ledger wallet, you can use 0 as your destination tag. Also, please make sure your wallet is active before withdrawing funds to it. Remember that withdrawals from BITDAX.IO cannot be performed as the initial transaction to your Ripple wallet.

Cosmos (ATOM)
Every ATOM wallet has a special memo ID that you need to include when making a withdrawal from BITDAX.IO. Please clarify with your destination wallet where you can find your memo ID before performing the withdrawal. A missing or incorrect memo may lead to a loss of funds.

Neo (NEO)
Unlike most cryptocurrencies, NEO does not have decimal places. The minimum transaction value is 1 NEO. When transferring NEO, use only whole numbers.

If you send decimal amounts, you will lose the fractional part of your transaction. For example, if you enter 2.04 as your withdrawal amount, you’ll receive only 2 NEO on your external wallet. The remaining 0.04 NEO will be left in the network.

TRON (TRX)
CEX.IO doesn’t support the Ethereum-based version of the TRON token. Please use only a TRC-20/TRC-10 compatible wallet* to make a withdrawal from BITDAX.IO. Attempting to withdraw to an Ethereum based (ERC-20) TRX wallet from BITDAX.IO will cause a failed transaction and loss of funds.

* TRC-10/TRC-20 wallets start with T and ERC-20 wallets begin with 0x.

Tezos (XTZ)
Only use TZ wallets for withdrawing your XTZ from BITDAX.IO.

Your BITDAX.IO XTZ wallet is an implicit account address (that starts with tz). It’s used for baking and doesn’t support smart contract transactions (or delegation). Withdrawals to wallets of another format, starting with KT, are not supported.

USDC (USD Coin)
Use only lowercase letters when entering the destination address for USDC withdrawal.

Polkadot (DOT)
DOT funds cannot be transferred between BITDAX.IO users, only external addresses are accepted.

Kava.io (KAVA)
KAVA wallets need to be activated with an initial deposit. Keep in mind that withdrawals from BITDAX.IO cannot be sent to inactive KAVA wallets.

KAVA wallets have a special memo ID. When transferring KAVA, do not forget to include the correct memo ID. You can clarify your memo ID with your destination wallet service.

Kusama (KSM)
KSM funds cannot be transferred between BITDAX.IO users, only external addresses are accepted.

Ton (TON)
When withdrawing TON from BITDAX.IO, you need to use a memo ID. Specify with your recipient wallet service what memo ID you should include for the transaction to be successful.

Withdrawals from BITDAX.IO cannot be sent to inactive TON wallets. Make sure your TON wallet is activated with an initial deposit.

You can use one of these methods to send funds to your bank account:

International transfer (between banks in different countries):

SWIFT (USD/EUR/GBP)

Domestic transfer (via local banking systems):

SEPA (EUR only, available in the European Union and SEPA zone)

ACH (USD only, available in the US)

Faster Payments (GBP only, available in the UK)

Check our Limits and Commissions page to see which of these options is available in your area.

To make a withdrawal by bank transfer, you need to pass Address verification on BITDAX.IO. It takes only a few minutes to submit your proof of residence in order to unlock this payment method.

After your application has been checked and approved, you can make a wire withdrawal. Just follow these steps:

3. Enter the amount to send to your bank account.

4. Fill in your Bank’s beneficiary details:

Bank name

Bank country and address

BIC/SWIFT number

IBAN or bank account number

f you’re making an international bank transfer, you can also add the beneficiary details of a correspondent bank. This bank is usually situated in another country and is authorized to process transactions on behalf of your bank. Check with your bank manager to see whether you should include this information in your withdrawal request.

5. Accept the BITDAX.IO Terms of Use, Refund Policy, and Payment Conditions. Then click the Withdraw button.

Important:
While filling out the bank transfer form, make sure all details are correct. If any information doesn’t match, it may result in a processing error or delay.

Please note that we can only send payments to your personal bank account.

For Corporate accounts: You can fund your Corporate BITDAX.IO account only using your company bank account. Please, use your company bank account when withdrawing funds from your corporate account at BITDAX.IO. If you fund a company bank account using your individual BITDAX.IO account, it may lead to a mistake on the side of the recipient bank.
BITDAX.IO supports a range of payment options so you can choose the most suitable depending on your goals, location, and account limits. To make a deposit to your BITDAX.IO account or withdraw funds from BITDAX.IO to your bank account, you can use:

SWIFT (USD/EUR/GBP)

SEPA (EUR, available in SEPA zone)

ACH (USD, available in the US)

Faster Payments (GBP, available in the UK)

Bank transfer processing times depend on the bank. SWIFT payments are generally completed within three banking days while domestic transfers (ACH, SEPA, Faster Payments) can take even less than one working day. However, sometimes there is a delay in the processing of bank transfers. These are the most common reasons why your deposit or withdrawal operation via bank transfer may take more time than expected.

Incorrect recipient details

One issue that can slow down a transfer is incorrect beneficiary bank details or an incorrect recipient name. When filling out those details, make sure they are correct and up to date. Otherwise, your transfer might not reach the recipient. Check out our detailed guides on how to create bank transfer deposit and withdrawal requests to be sure you fill out everything correctly.

Bank holidays and weekends

Domestic and international wire transfers are not processed on weekends and public holidays. Keep in mind that weekends differ around the world. For instance, in the US, banks are closed on Saturday and Sunday, while in many Middle Eastern countries including the UAE and Egypt, the weekend falls on Friday and Saturday.

Likewise, if you initiate a bank transfer on a public holiday, it will be processed on the next business day.

As long as you make your transfer request on a business day before your bank’s cutoff time, it should be confirmed that same day. Otherwise, it will likely be processed the following business day.

Anti-money laundering and anti-fraud regulations

Banks and other financial institutions have to follow strict Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations set by local and international governing bodies. Some payments may need to go through a few extra checks before being confirmed.

Each bank has its own AML/KYC policy, and the time needed for confirming transactions may vary. Generally, after receiving a new transfer bank keep funds for some time before crediting to your account to do verifications.

As a rule, every new customer and transfer should go through a detailed verification. Depending on a bank’s policy, it can take more than five days before a transaction reaches its destination. For this reason, it’s best to use the same bank with familiar rules to make wire transfers.

The number of intermediary (correspondent) banks

AT BITDAX.IO, you can make deposits and withdrawals using your bank account in almost any country via international SWIFT transfers. The SWIFT payment system enables banking institutions to securely send and receive funds in a standardized way. This allows money to be sent from one bank to another, virtually anywhere in the world and in many different currencies.

If you send funds using SWIFT transfer, keep in mind that sometimes SWIFT transfers have to go through intermediary banks. It’s important to note that your money isn’t actually being sent via SWIFT. What’s being sent are just the instructions to deduct funds from your bank account and add them to the recipient’s bank account.

The destination country

The processing time of bank transfers may also vary depending on the country to which you send funds. Some countries have slower banking infrastructures than others. It can take varying amounts of time for banks to communicate with each other and send money to its final destination. Some countries may also have stricter regulations that cause payments to go through verification methods that may further slow them down.

BITDAX.IO has several bank partners all over the world so as to process your wire transfers fast and through reliable banking systems. Years of robust relationships have helped us establish quick and cheap payments using SEPA, ACH, and Faster Payments as well as SWIFT. Check the availability of all these payment methods with your bank.

Currencies involved

When you’re sending money overseas, in many cases you’ll need to convert the funds you send into another currency. For example, if you request a USD deposit to your BITDAX.IO account but send funds in your local currency (which is not USD), it will take some time for this currency to be converted into USD. We recommend checking your bank’s policy regarding currency conversion as well as the associated fees.

Pay attention to the commission
BITDAX.IO has transparent commissions for all supported payment methods. You can check them on our Limits and Commissions page. However, some banks may also charge fees for incoming and outgoing transfers. We recommend clarifying this information directly with your bank.

There are generally fees associated with SWIFT transfers. There will likely be an outgoing international transfer fee levied by your bank and each intermediary bank. All commissions will be deducted from the total transfer amount. Usually, the recipient’s bank also charges a fee for incoming international transfers.

If you need to exchange currency for your transfer, one of the intermediary banks will likely do the conversion. In this case, the bank that performs the conversion will charge an extra fee for doing so.

This information should help you plan your payments. We are committed to improving our services and hope you take advantage of the reliable, fast, and cheap wire transfers provided by BITDAX.IO.
In order to send cryptocurrencies from one wallet to another, you need to create a transaction that should be confirmed on a blockchain. When you check your operation on the blockchain, you can see how many confirmations it has received. The number of these confirmations shows how many blocks have been created after adding your transaction to the blockchain. The more confirmations a transaction has, the more secure it is.

In fact, the processing time depends on the network participants (validators), and neither BITDAX.IO nor any other crypto exchange platform can influence it. Generally, Bitcoin transactions are considered secure after receiving at least six confirmations. However, most platforms, including BITDAX.IO, require a minimum of three confirmations for Bitcoin transactions to be shown on your balance to save time. Here are the number of confirmations needed for every cryptocurrency to be credited to your BITDAX.IO account:

Withdrawals
Once you create a withdrawal operation on your BITDAX.IO account and confirm it (with your email and two-factor authentication on the website or WPC in the mobile app), it’s sent to the blockchain for processing. When your withdrawal hits the destination wallet depends on various factors including the network load and the number of confirmations needed by the recipient platform.

Please allow up to one hour for the network to pick up your transaction. We also recommend clarifying the number of confirmations needed by the recipient wallet.

Also, make sure to check all details of the destination wallet address. Remember that a crypto transaction cannot be reversed. As soon as it has received at least one confirmation, the transaction cannot be canceled or returned.
