Bitdax is preparing an application for accreditation as an Electronic Certification Service Provider with the Communications Authority of Kenya. No accreditation has been granted. Trust services are demonstrated in a controlled environment only.

Bitdax publishes the status of every service. A working interface is not evidence of an approval. See the regulatory status page for the full register.

Scan or type

Verify from a QR code or by entering a credential identifier.

No account needed

A verifier never has to register to check whether something is real.

Document matching

Upload the document to confirm its hash matches the signed original.

Clear results

Valid, expired, suspended, revoked, or verification unavailable.

Verification receipt

Download a receipt recording that the check was performed.

Verification API

Systems verify programmatically instead of storing PDF copies.

How it works

The flow, end to end

  1. Scan or enter

    A QR code is scanned or a credential ID is entered.

  2. Record retrieved

    The credential status is fetched.

  3. Signature validated

    Signature integrity and issuer are confirmed.

  4. Timestamp validated

    The trusted timestamp is checked.

  5. Revocation checked

    The revocation register is consulted.

  6. Result shown and logged

    The result is displayed and the verification is recorded.
